Tasting Notes
The 2006 vintage was warm in Champagne with an equable water balance and a comparatively early start to the harvest (7 September). The wines are mellow and full-bodied. Very closed, a hint of hay, full-bodied on the palate, dense, with a soft background touch but pithy and mineral, very young, prevalent and homogeneous in structure, well-integrated ripe acidity. Medium-fine to fine mousse, persistent and intense minerality, firm to the core, great structural length.
