The red wine Château Canon, vintage 2006 from the winery Château Canon has been rated in 2007 with 88 - 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Merlot from the region St. Emilion in France.
Strong ruby garnet, violet rim brightening. Fine spicy notes on the nose over red berry confit, currently still somewhat restrained. Medium-bodied on the palate, mineral, fine tannins, carried by the acidity, delicate raspberry notes, lemony touch on the finish, still a little short.
