The red wine Croix Canon, vintage 2018 from the winery Château Canon has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc from the region St. Emilion in France.
Dark ruby, purple reflections, broader brightening on the rim. Red forest berry conserve, delicate noble wood, notes of nuts and blackberry underlaid with tobacco. Medium complexity on the palate, fine fruit sweetness, ripe cherry and plum with integrated tannins, good freshness, mineral finish with a nougat touch. Already accessible.
