The sweet and dessert wine Château Cantegril, vintage 2022 from the winery Château Cantegril has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser with 88 - 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sémillon from the region Barsac in France.
Pale golden yellow, still slightly hazy, silver reflections. Delicate clove, hints of apricot and ripe pear, inviting floral honey, a touch of wood. Very powerful, complex, white tropical fruit, vivid sweetness, opulent and punchy, high residual sugar, will need years to balance, seems bitter, the botrytis note is not quite clean.
