Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, narrow bright rim. Wild dark berry fruit, blackberries, a hint of plums, candied orange zest, delicate nougat, all underlaid with fine noble wood spices. Juicy, intense ripe fruit core, black cherries, elegant, ripe, integrated tannins, mineral texture, fine nougat on the finish, very persistent. Masses of ageing potential.
