The red wine La Closerie de Camensac, vintage 2011 from the winery Château de Camensac has been rated in 2017 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Haut-Médoc in France.
First ripe spices on the nose, slightly chocolaty, a hint of malt, but also spruce needle. On the palate, emphatically supple, creamy and round, subtle acidity, the tannins have turned into melting, the wine is buttery and soft and yet not lacking in structure. Is now at a beautiful point of maturity.
