Strong ruby with purple reflections and broader rim brightening. Ripe plum fruit underpinned with southern herbs, candied orange zest and some strawberry, an inviting bouquet. Juicy and accessible, opulent and pronounced in fruit on the palate, vivid, savoury tannins, some nougat on the finish, mineral-taut finish, should enjoy three more years of bottle ageing.
