The red wine Les Remparts de Ferrière, vintage 2018 from the winery Château Ferrière has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot from the region Margaux in France.
Strong ruby garnet, purple reflections, discreet ochre lightening on the rim. Herbal, savoury nose with tobacco, blackberry fruit, but also cranberry, nougat and dark minerality. Moderately complex palate, delicate sour cherry, freshly structured with fine tannins and long, salty finish. Already well developed and an elegant food wine.
