Deep dark ruby, dark core, purple reflections, delicate bright rim. Rather restrained bouquet, fine cherry fruit, ripe plum underlay, some nougat, candied orange zest. Complex, juicy, good fruit, substantial integrated tannins, chocolaty touch in the finish, powerful aftertaste, it has definite ageing potential.
