Tasting Notes

Tasting from 12.02.2016

Dark ruby, purple reflections, slightly watery rim. Attractive blackberry fruit, nuances of cassis and liquorice in the background, delicate sloe, fine herbal savouriness, some nougat, a multi-faceted and inviting bouquet. Juicy, compact, silky tannins, pronounced fruit and very persistent, ripe cherry on the finish, fine touch of dried plum and chocolate on the finish, it has definite development potential.

Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections; initially somewhat restrained, dark nougat, black berries, leafy spice; still foamy on the palate, closed, present tannins, chocolaty, extract-sweet finish, still somewhat monolithic in this phase, delicate bitter chocolate in the aftertaste.
