Tasting Notes
Strong ruby, purple reflections, faint ochre brightening on the rim. Delicate wood nuances, ripe cherry fruit, discreet wild berry confit with candied orange zest in the background. Juicy, elegant, sweet fresh cherries, integrated tannins, some cocoa on the finish, pleasant minerality, versatile food wine with ageing potential.
More about the tastingDeep ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, narrow bright rim. Fine herbal savouriness, dark berry fruit, nuances of liquorice and blackberries, a touch of nougat enveloped in plush new French oak. Juicy, elegant but richly structured, cherries, integrated tannins, mineral and well-balanced. Will certainly evolve over the coming years.
