Strong ruby, purple reflections, broad ochre rim. Ripe blackberries, black cherries, fine herbal spice, some tobacco, delicately underlaid with liquorice. Juicy, good complexity, dark fruit, ripe tannins, good freshness, some nougat, mineral finish, a spicy food wine with ageing potential.
