Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle edge brightening. Hints of strawberry confit, preserved cherry, candied orange zest, some nougat. Juicy, somewhat loosely knit, subtle fruit sweetness, ripe, integrated tannins, delicate hint of liquorice, salty touch on the finish, an uncomplicated food companion.
