Dark ruby with purple reflections and subtle rim brightening. Somewhat restrained aromas of ripe red berries, a touch of oak and background notes of ripe cassis. Powerful on the palate with blackberry confit, still quite demanding tannins, black fruit and mineral. Already displays good length but will benefit from bottle ageing and will provide many years of drinking pleasure.
