The white wine Le Blanc by Chateau Leognan (Graves), vintage 2023 from the winery Château Leognan has been rated in 2025 by Romana Echensperger with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadelle from the region Bordeaux in France.
A white wine with character and substance. Aromas of nectarine, peach, narcissus, buttered toast and toffee with smoky, meaty notes reminiscent of dashi broth. On the palate, powerful body and spicy notes from the wood barrel ageing, with a smoky finish and structured length. The salty lemon flavour remains discreetly in the background. A wine that unfolds its full ageing potential with a food pairing.
