Tasting Notes
Strong ruby, soft ochre reflections, discreet brightening on the rim. Ripe plum fruit underlaid with fine herbal spice, fine nougat, tobacco touch, blackberry fruit on the background. With air, nuances of black truffle are revealed alongside a touch of curry spice and candied orange zest. Juicy, sweet cherry fruit, finesse rich structure, silky tannins, salty lemony touch on the finish, long lasting, subtle touch of liquorice on the back palate. Should be decanted well, otherwise the bouquet seems more grown-up than the wine actually is on the palate. Has entered a kind of transition phase and will then reveal itself more beautiful than ever.
