Dark ruby red, a subtle ochre colour on the rim, deep colour. Ripe, almost opulent dark berry fruit, blackberries, cassis and a hint of eucalyptus, candied orange zest, wonderful fresh herbs. Powerful on the palate, very full-bodied texture, perfectly ripe fruit, firm, well-integrated tannins, mineral, dark berry nuances on the finish, very good persistence, good further ageing potential.
