Dark ruby, with purple reflections, and a subtle bright rim. On the nose a delicate herbal savouriness, fine blackberry confit, a hint of liquorice, and with some grapefruit in the background. Complex, juicy and sweet, it is substantial, with integrated tannins, and a chocolaty finish with good length. It is already drinking well, but also has certain ageing potential.
