Tasting Notes
Dark ruby in colour with purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. A very unique nose, with aromas of fine mint, and a hint of After Eight on the bouquet, with lime zest. The palate is medium-bodied, again minty, with relatively high acidity, and pleasant sweetness on the lemony finish, somewhat out of line with the Margaux appellation. Curious. Already approachable.
More about the tastingDeep dark ruby garnet, violet reflections. Restrained nose, delicate hints of sea buckthorn, smoky, leafy spice, underlaid with dark berry confit. Juicy, surprisingly fresh structure, extract-sweet red fruit, well-integrated tannins, chocolaty touch on the finish, sticks well, very good future potential.
