The red wine Château Moulin Haut-Laroque, vintage 2006 from the winery Château Moulin Haut-Laroque has been rated in 2007 with 87 - 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec from the region Fronsac in France.
Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby garnet, youthful reflections, violet rim. Juicy dark berry fruit on the nose, a hint of dried fruit, delicate hint of licorice. Full-bodied on the palate, good complexity, strongly marked by wood at the moment, needs time, chocolate and floral nuances on the finish, good potential, the most reliable Fronsac for me.
