Tasting Notes
Medium carmine colour, ochre reflections, broad watery rim. Attractive ripe cherry fruit, but also a fine savouriness, reminiscent of black tea, with a hint of candied violet blossom. Powerful, juicy texture, vivid tannins, lively acidity, nuances of bitter chocolate and dried fruit on the finish testify to the sun drenched vintage, with sultanas on the aftertaste. (Drink/store +10).
