Tasting Notes
Medium crimson in colour with ochre reflections and a broad watery rim. Needs air, initially a hint of damp wool and cookie, underneath sweet red berry confit, candied orange zest, delicate herbal spices with subtle balsamic nuances. Full-bodied and elegant on the palate, very well-integrated tannins, fine wild berry confit, shows no rough edges, rich in finesse, with dark nougat and pronounced dried fruit notes on the lingering finish. This legendary Rayas has already lost some of its presence, but none of its charm, although you shouldn't wait too long. (Drink/store +10).
