Tasting Notes
Dark ruby garnet colour with purple reflections, delicate brightening on the rim. Light notes of liquorice and black cherries, but also fine nuances of red berries, fresh orange zest, subtle wood savouriness in the background. Juicy, elegant, fine, round tannins, very good freshness, a hint of nougat on the finish, mineral, already well-developed, subtle fruit sweetness in the aftertaste, a multi-faceted food wine, very good further ageing potential, a typical representative of the Saint-Julien appellation. Already accessible, but better to wait.
