Tasting from 11.07.2017: Ulrich Sautter

Elderberry pulp, some new wood and almost tarry notes. Creamy, full attack, then fine-grained, initially melted tannin lines the palate, juicy transition to the finish, which shows a little chalky minerality, but is still closed in terms of aroma. Strong but well-bonded alcohol.
