The white wine Riesling x Sylvaner, Alte Reben, vintage 2009 from the winery Cicero Weinbau has been rated in 2011 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grüner Sylvaner , Riesling from the region Zizers in Switzerland.
A modern interpretation of Müller Thurgau. This bottling is full-bodied with Granny Smith aromas and notes reminiscent of damp mountain rock. Complex, anything but sweet. Very solid and dense with citrus and mint aromas. Decanting possible. This young winemaker brings a lot of dynamism to the Swiss wine landscape.
