Tasting Notes
Bright ruby red with a delicately brightening rim and a flint core. Cheese rind and sealing wax on the nose at first, opens up to cherry fruit and blueberries after a little time, with a light leather finish. On the palate with juicy tannins and a clear core, spreads out well, appears more cohesive overall, the year of bottle ageing has done it good.
More about the tastingDark, bright ruby red. Nose of cinnamon and ripe blood orange, subtle cherry. Initially opens up with considerable density on the palate, flows beautifully, then unfortunately collapses on the finish and remains remarkably loosely knit.
