Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate edge brightening. Black berry fruit background of vanilla and nougat, a hint of liquorice and mint, a fine touch of precious wood. Complex, sweet blackberries and some cassis, ripe, firm tannins, good freshness, chocolatey finish, mineral aftertaste, a juicy food companion with certain ageing potential.
