Tasting from 29.08.2013

Deep ruby in colour with purple reflections, and a delicate watery rim. On the nose, attractive black berry fruit, underlaid with ripe plum, a hint of violet, strawberry confit, with sweet herbal spices. The palate is highly elegant, with a fresh and lively structure, fruity with notes of ripe cherry, and a mineral, almost saline finish which lingers for minutes. Already accessible, with the potential for future ageing, a wine of great finesse.
