Dark ruby, purple reflections, watery rim. Attractive blackberry fruit, a hint of fine oak, a hint of liquorice, candied violets and orange zest, ripe cherries, very multi-faceted bouquet, smoky savouriness. Full-bodied, ripe sweet cherry fruit, vivid, well-supporting tannins, elegant and pronounced in fruit on the palate. Shows good length, lots of substance, great fruitiness in the finish, certain ageing potential.
