Ripe pears, roasted walnut, quince and honey on the nose, powerful and intense. Full-bodied on the palate, with sweet extract and savouriness, power and force, but in good balance, a Burgundy bitter with certain ageing potential that should be allowed to mature and then show what it can do with strong dishes.
