Tasting Notes

91
Tasting from 14.10.2011

Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, delicate rim brightening. Honey-sweet cassis on the nose, fine precious wood notes, but also nuances of celery, dried banana. Juicy, good complexity, ripe tannins, nougat on the finish, sweet black berry fruit in the aftertaste, chocolaty aftertaste, delicate prunes, already developed. This wine is a successful attempt to revive the traditional style.
