Tasting from 05.08.2022: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Rich ruby red with a slightly lightening rim. Intense and complex on the nose, reminiscent of black truffle, Amarena cherry and rum-steeped fruit, reverberating with rich balsamic and toasted notes from oak ageing. On the palate it is compact with dense tannin, showing certain freshness and juiciness, with fruity-sweet texture, a bit unbalanced on the finish with rich drive.
