Clear, dense ruby with a rich purple hue. Shows fragrant notes of freshly picked blackberry on the nose, along with plum and some dark bread crust. Dense and full-bodied at first, but becomes increasingly rough as it progresses, with drying, harsh tannins and a finish clearly characterised by wood.
