Powerful ruby with a slight garnet sheen. Opens with rich spicy notes, cardamom and bay leaf, then rich blackberry, plum. Shows ripe, dark berry fruit, grippy tannin, fine spices on the finish, then breaks off a bit quickly, a little course at the end.
