The red wine Enrico VI Barolo DOCG, vintage 2012 from the winery Cordero di Montezemolo has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Rich, flint ruby with delicate garnet rim. Intense and compact nose of dark rose petals, rich with ripe wild raspberries, blackberries, underpinned by liquorice and truffle; exciting. Supple and full on the palate, dark, ripe fruit, builds with dense tannin, fine texture at the core, very long finish, round and warm.
