Tasting Notes
There is a wonderful blackcurrant lift to the first whiff on the perfumed nose, followed by juiciest fruit, wax and stone with some myrrh in the background. The palate is seamless, dense, flowing yet firm, like finest canvas stretched over a taut frame. There is an inherently graceful yet sumptuous structure, something very fine, bright and fresh at that dark-fruited heart of the wine. Incredibly elegant. Drink 2030-2050. AK
