Tasting from 26.04.2022: Peter Moser & Anne Krebiehl MW

You can almost smell that dusty soil of St Helena, its depth blends in with a lovely mix of dark fruit, think crushed blackberry and ripe plum. More air reveals notions of candlewax and graphite. The palate is smooth and ripe, firm, dense tannins have the feel of starched velvet, they are elegant an outlined by fine freshness. Purest blackberry shines with graphite on the fresh, long finish. Drink 2025-2040. AK
