The sweet and dessert wine Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Corte Canella has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 86 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella , Croatina from the region Veneto in Italy.
Shiny ruby with fine garnet shimmer. Opens with notes of ripe, dark berry fruit, fine savouriness and fresh figs in the background. On the palate then unfortunately much drying out tannin and clear wood overhang.
