The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella, vintage 2015 from the winery Corte Canella has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella , Croatina from the region Veneto in Italy.
Rich, dark ruby with garnet rim. Very intense nose with notes of tobacco and dark fruit, especially currant and blackberry. On the palate gripping, dense tannin, luxuriant, also intense sweetness, seems a little bit runaway, the wine for power drinkers.
