The White Wine Etna Bianco Contrada Calderara DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Cottanera has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Catarratto from the region Sicily in Italy.
It has a vivid yellow green colour. On the nose it opens with notes of steely minerality, then plenty of grapefruit and bergamot. It is juicy and salty on the palate, unfolding with creamy nuances in the background.
