Tasting from 30.06.2007

Bright, dark ruby garnet; beguiling, intense nose with lots of ripe raspberry fruit, some sealing wax, fine spices in the background; firm tannin on the palate, builds up nicely, fine raspberry, but then a lot of alcohol comes through in the finish, unfortunately a little rough, with a licorice aftertaste.
