Strong ruby, purple reflections, broader ochre lightening on the rim. Nose underlaid with dark minerality, black forest berry fruit, liquorice, tobacco and a touch of juniper. Juicy, silky palate, red cherry fruit, freshly structured, ripe tannins, salty notes with good drive on the finish, great length and youthful energy.
