The red wine Cornalin, vintage 2004 from the winery Denis Mercier has been rated in 2015 by Martin Kilchmann with 89 - 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Sierre in Switzerland.
Strong, dark, almost impenetrable red. Reductive on the nose, later dark fruit and spicy notes (pepper), profound. Relatively short, soft attack on the palate, medium-bodied, juicy acidity, rich tannins, pronounced cherry aromas. Long finish. Currently a rather inaccessible, rustic wine with potential.
