Rather restrained aroma of brioche, ripe apple, some pear, ripe black currant and smoke. The palate is very powerful, dense, textured, fine phenolics, well-integrated acidity, lots of juice, mineral underpinnings, good structure and length, has ageing potential. Very individualistic.
