The franciacorta Extra Brut Franciacorta DOCG, vintage 2012 from the winery Derbusco Cives has been rated in 2019 by Gerhild Burkard, Benjamin Herzog with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir from the region Lombardia in Italy.
Bright, rich straw yellow. Opens invitingly on the nose with notes of ripe yellow fruit, delicate wood, pineapple, banana, rich peach, fragrant. Opens very dry with gripping acidity on the palate, perky mousse, medium length, still acidic and subtly lingering on the finish.
