The red wine Sassius Aglianico Riserva DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Di Majo Norante has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Aglianico from the region Molise in Italy.
Dark ruby red with a purple core and brightening rim. On the nose, balsamic notes and beeswax, plum confit and preserved cherries, in the background a hint of cocoa and coffee powder, very complex. Very full-bodied on the palate, then beautiful acidity and very juicy as it progresses, the tannins taut and ending with fruit on the finish.
