The red wine Barbera d'Alba Superiore DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Diego Morra has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Medium-dark purple colour with a fine rim. Very fragrant on the nose, of violet and iris, plus crisp sour cherry and plum, later more fleshy and also with spicy hints. A polished attack with plenty of ripe fruit on the palate, well-integrated tannins and animating acidity, with astonishing length.
