The white wine Bouchié-Chatellier Argile à Silex Pouilly-Fumé, vintage 2020 from the winery Domaine Bouchié-Chatellier has been rated in 2022 by Anne Krebiehl MW with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Pouilly fumé in France.
A wonderfully lifted note of boxwood precedes gentler green notions of chevril. This is followed by lemon and a touch of juicy ripeness. The palate then majors on the juicy notions and even adds highlights of passion fruit. The palate is fresh and textured, a lovely, vivid wine with resonant and full flavours on the long finish.
