The white wine Pouilly-Fumé AOC Argile à Silex, vintage 2016 from the winery Domaine Bouchié-Chatellier has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Loire Valley in France.
This has aromas of gooseberry pie with meringue, and is almost perfumed on the nose. It is full-bodied, with a lively Loire acidity, and it is homogeneous, fresh and yet also powerful, with plenty of juice and raciness, and some minerality in the background.
