The white wine Chablis AOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Domaine Céline et Frédéric Gueguen has been rated in 2019 by Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Bourgogne in France.
Lots of citrus on the nose, with lime and lemon, plus a hint of exotic fruit and white flowers. Taut on the palate, beautiful acidity, pleasantly austere and still very young. Off to the cellar!
More about the tastingSomewhat restrained, elegant bouquet with fine citrus aromas, flint and herbal-spicy hints. Also mirabelle plum and pineapple. Carried on the palate by a beautiful melting texture, straightforward acidity, salty finish.
